Debussy's Clair de Lune | Emily Isaacson's Poetry

Описание: Debussy's Clair de Lune is a video depiction of an ekphrastic poem by Emily Isaacson. According to the Poetry Foundation, "ekphrastic means 'Description' in Greek. An ekphrastic poem is a vivid description of a scene or, more commonly, a work of art." Isaacson's poem both delineates a form and leisurely pace in common with the Debussy piece, as well as being cast to the piece itself.

This poem is the study of the courtship of a young couple in spring. Romantic and flowery, there are many thematic elements in the movie, including pen sketches, snowdrops, and music.
