Описание: In a relentless –74°C blizzard, an 91-year-old woman and a 10-year-old girl endure the day inside a rammed-earth clay shelter warmed by a simple clay stove, rugs spread on the floor, and a single small window bleeding cold light. With an adult Alaskan Malamute guarding three newborn puppies, they clear drifts, work the clay-walled cow pen, and push the herd through wind-driven snow to graze and return. They haul ice blocks, gather branches and hay, set a quiet snare for a snow rabbit, and cook a hot meal with careful prep while the storm keeps thickening. By dusk, wolves surge toward the cow pen and the hay stacks—forcing an emergency defense: iron traps laid in the snow, a hay fireline sparked by fire arrows, and water rushed in buckets to prevent the flames from spreading. After the pack breaks and retreats into the blizzard, they smother every ember, guide the cows back into the shelter for a temporary night rest, and finally settle on the rugs with the dog and puppies as the storm swallows the mountain.
