M64 | Club64 | My first SID tune! (C64 Chiptune) 2014

Описание: This is my first SID tune I ever created - in 2014. I am using "SID-Wizard" here, a Commodore 64 tracker program. It is also the program that you see playing the tune here.
(The spectrum analyzer is an overlay I manually added ;) ).

This is a quite bassy one, for the old SID 6581 chip.
My goal was to make a tune, that does not sound like the typical game tunes of the 80ies. And to get used to all sorts of techniques, using the filter, arps, etc ...

I released it on 01.01.2015 as a tribute to a new facebook group dedicated to C64 musicians.

This one is recorded using the VICE emulator.
