In this video I react to the iconic and ancient Sycamore Gap tree that was just cut down by vandals. Also, known as the Robin Hood tree, it was a well loved landmark in Northumberland, UK. Sadly, the Sycamore Gap tree was felled and all that's left is a stump. This was unfortunately the first time I've ever heard of this tree and I'm sad and angry that vandalism has destroyed something so beautiful.
Looking at the before and after of this area, it's easy to see that the Sycamore Gap tree was a very important part of the landscape. I can understand why this tree was so special and why it was once named England's tree of the year.
