In this message, we carefully walk through what the Seventh-day Adventist Church officially teaches about the Godhead—using the 2024 Annual Council statements as a starting point—while keeping a respectful spirit toward sincere believers. Then we compare those claims with Scripture, the early Adventist “Fundamental Principles,” and key Spirit of Prophecy statements that repeatedly emphasize the Father and the Son. And while this presentation isn’t meant to pick fights or condemn people, it does raise a sobering question: if the identity of God is the foundation of our faith, how did the church’s public teaching shift so dramatically over time—and what does that mean for the gospel today?
