After incredible research by CHZ-Soft in 2023 which suggested a possible software workaround for the infamous faulty Atari STe DMA-chips, the demoscene had enough of struggling DMA and made a patch program for the most popular driver (Hddriver) that implements the proposed fix.
Does it work? Here's an uncut video of the proceedings to patch the driver, partition a drive and finally install Hddriver. Enjoy the YMSE soundtrack by Frequent of Ephidrena and slow diskette loading times :)
