Do you ever feel like you are a magnet for the sick and wounded?

It’s as if the people that are always in need automatically come to you for help. I’m not just talking about simple requests, I'm talking about the people who always need to talk to you about their dramatic life, or they need money, or they need to live with you, etc.

These people are takers and rarely are the givers.

The big reason these people are drawn to you is because they know you are willing to put up with their dramatic lives.

You are willing to be the martyr who will jump in and save them, even if it may cause issues in your own life.

Don’t get me wrong, there is nothing wrong with helping people in need, but issue arises when there is no balance.

Your main job is to protect your energy, your life, and your time. You do that by focusing on the type of people that you want in your life; people that have a balance, they are self-sufficient, abundant, and are also givers.

In order to do this you must be discerning about who you allow into your life and be mindful to decide who you want to be around.

Watch this video and learn how to deal with needy people, how can you tell if someone is needy, and why you're attracting needy people. Once you learn why you're attracting needy people and the signs of a needy person, you can start to deal with needy people in effective manner.
