Last year, at the age of 77, I suffered a serious health crisis that forced me to confront the reality of death. It reminded me of my mother, who passed away alone in Yokohama many years ago and was discovered days later. Because of this, I decided to hire a full-time caregiver for 24-hour support.

At the same time, I began using AI to analyze the causes of my health problems and to improve my daily habits. As a result, my condition significantly improved by early 2026. I now walk 10 kilometers every day on a covered rooftop pathway under construction on the fourth floor of my building to maintain my health.

I was born in Nakatsugawa City, Gifu Prefecture, and spent my childhood in Gifu and Osaka. During my later elementary school years, I lived in Shimokitazawa, Tokyo, and later commuted from Yokohama through junior high school, high school, and university. I practiced karate and judo and devoted myself to studying English during my student years.

After graduating from university, I trained as an interpreter, worked in translation, and then entered the world of international trade. Eventually, I became independent in Manila and founded a trading company connecting Japan and the Philippines.
