SMT IV: Apocalypse - Angel, Solo Edition (Low Level, Apocalypse Difficulty)

Описание: For this run, I'll also be recording some videos in which I solo select bosses while adhering to all of the other rules of the run, with the exception of using stat boosters and Armor Boost Kits. As such, they shouldn't be considered continuations of the run, just separate bonus battles that I'm doing for fun. Apocalypse isn't really a game that is balanced to be soloed, but Armor Boost Kits are broken enough in this game that I'll probably be able to beat a decent amount of bosses just with the ones I'm able to pick up around Tokyo.

Interestingly enough, Angel is actually much easier to solo than to beat normally. The problem is, in order to do so, more than 10 Mudo Stones are pretty much required to outpace her Dia. Farming macca is horrendous at this point, since there are very few relic spots available. The only real option is to talk to demons that have already been recruited and hope they give you money. It took me about 30 minutes to farm with emulator speedup, and I'm guessing it might take 3-4 hours if I were to buy them at Apocalypse difficulty prices. So yeah, it's much simpler to just fight her normally.

As for the fight itself, Angel poses very little threat to Nanashi or Asahi because she never uses her basic attack more than once a turn. Her second move will always be either Hama or Dia. Really, the only way to lose this battle is if Asahi's Pixie decides not to heal Nanashi.
