Both Tennis Elbow (Lateral Epicondylitis) and Golfer’s Elbow (Medial Epicondylitis) are similar conditions. Tennis elbow results in pain on the outside of the elbow, whilst Golfer’s elbow causes pain on the inside of the elbow.

This painful condition occurs when the muscles become overloaded, usually due to repetitive arm and wrist movements. The result is the tendons excessively pulling on the insertion point of the epicondyle (the bony bumps at the bottom of the humerus) causing damage and inflammation, resulting in pain and usually a significant loss of strength. 😩

One of the most difficult things with both of these conditions is resting the arm enough to give the area a chance to completely recover.
