Sharpening on a KME Using the Stone Thickness Compensator (Spyderco PM2 S35VN)

Описание: Sharpen up a an S35VN PM2 on the KME. Every once in a while I like to take some knives back to the KME to reset the edge and fix any built up mistakes I've made freehand sharpening. I always recommend going back down to the 140grit to start every time on the KME as you will save time overall but do be aware that the 140grit stone does seem to generate a "false burr" so make sure it's truly apexed before moving to 300.

The Stone Thickness Compensator is a useful tool for utilizing different lines of stones. Having consistent pressure between stones when using it is key for success.
