While we were at the Quartzsite RV Show, we picked up a number of items for our new Montana High Country. Two of which were the MorRyde Safety Rail (Safe T Rail) and the MorRyde Cord Keeper. The installation for the Safety Rail could require specialty tools, depending on the coach you are attaching it to. Make sure you watch the entire video before you begin your install.
The tools and products we used for this install were as follows.
Cordless Power drill / screwdriver (with a bit extension)
Harbor Freight Chicago Oscillating cutting tool (attachment to cut through metal)
Ratchet wrench and a box pliers (two wrenches would have worked)
Putty knife (scraper tool)
Flat head screwdriver
Clear Flex Shot (Calk sealant would also work)
Goo Gone (to clean up residue)
All purpose cleaner (to clean surface be for beginning install)
NOTE: The MorRyde install video shows a guy drilling all the pilot holes at the same time while holding the bracket in place! I highly do not recommend that. If you slip even a tiny bit after drilling the first hole you will have a mess on your hands.
Drill the second hole from the top and install that screw to hold the bracket in place. Then drill and seal the rest of the holes.
