A chair with dragon carved arms in a classic x shaped design, sometimes called a Savanarola chair or Dante chair / Dantesca chair or in some countries a Luther chair. The original design comes from the Roman Curule chairs. The curved laminated base of this chair had been used as a step and was broken. We repair the damage and restore the chair including filling some woodworm holes and adding wax and polish. Toffee the Bengal cat is very active in the process.
