Chicken Brooder Room Setup! 🐥 Raising Chicks Indoors!

Today we have an exciting video for you! We have dreamt of putting a brooder room in this barn for quite some time now, and we finally did it! 🥳🙌🏻
When owning farm animals, having proper spaces for them that function well make a MASSIVE difference! And we are already loving how having a good space for the intermediate birds has simplified our daily routine just that much more here on the farm. We doubled the space for them which is a huge win especially before going into winter. In order to have spring and summer layers for our customers 2024, that means continuing to hatch our birds now through all winter long. Knowing we have a nice big space for those chicks who aren’t fully feathered in the cold months ahead is such wonderful news.
The to-do list is never done, BUT completed projects like this are always worth celebrating! We are chipping away at our goals and plans for our homestead little by little, and that feels so great.
