How To Turn Off AutoCorrect and Predictive Text on iPhone

Описание: Let me show you a quick simple way to turn off auto-correction and all predictive text on your iPhone. Auto-correct can sometimes be useful, but we also know how frustrating it can be when it gets things wrong. This is how to turn it off.

First, open the Settings app. Scroll down and select "General." Next, tap on "Keyboard." Here, you'll see options for "Auto-Correction" and "Predictive."

To disable auto-correction, simply toggle the switch next to "Auto-Correction" to off. This will prevent your text from being automatically corrected as you type.

Next, turn off the "Predictive" option by toggling its switch. Do note that in iOS 17 and newer, turning off "Predictive" will also disable the predictive text bar that appears above the keyboard. However, you cannot disable the predictive text suggestions that appear on the side without also disabling the predictive bar.

Once you've turned these settings off, your iPhone will stop making automatic corrections and predictions as you type. This can make your typing experience more manual but also free from unwanted corrections and suggestions.
