Recently i visited Vallakottai Murugan temple. I just shared my experience in this video.
Vallakottai Subramaniyaswami Murugan Temple located in a place called Vallakottai. This place is located in between Oragadam - Sriperumbudur State highway.
This Murugan temple is around 1200 years old. A very famous temple in this region. Lord Murugan is the main deity in this temple.
Temple timings Morning 6 am.to 1 pm. Evening 4 pm to 8.30 pm.
Tuesday & Friday are the special days to visit this temple. I waited around 15 to 20 minutes in the free dharsan queue for dharsan. Special ticket Rs 100 too available.
Free annadanam ( food ) is also available. In the afternoon time around 12.30 pm to 1 pm providing free food to devotees in the dining hall.
From Tambaram MTC Bus no : 583 Tambaram - Sriperumbudur service operating via Vallakottai. From Vallakottai bus stop temple located just around 100 metres distance. Also TNSTC bus service no : 82C Thiruvallur - Chengalpattu bus operating via Vallakottai.
