Bring Our War Dollars Home
It doesn't take an economist to see that you can't decrease your income, and increase your spending at the same time. The radical right has done just that, and it has brought us close to another Great Depression. They cut government income by giving tax breaks to Corporations and the Wealthy. They drastically increased the military budget to pay for wars that serve no one, but the Military Industrial Complex, War Profiteers,and Corporate Thieves.The stooges in Washington now want to pay the bills for their asinine behavior by stealing money from good government programs that serve working people. The only way to solve our economic problem is to put in reverse the two things that caused the problem in the first place. We must end the senseless wars that we can not afford, and we must start taxing everybody in a honest way again. All citizens and businesses must pay their fair share. If we do this we will be able to upgrade our schools, rebuild out infrastructure, and put everybody back to work again. With everybody working, everybody will have money to spend. The Rich and Privileged can make a killing, selling them goods and services. They won't have to make a living robing pension funds, fleecing homeowners, or hitting up our government for bailouts. If we do the right thing everybody wins.
