I have owned the Sony FS5 for a little over a year now. I think this camera is great because it is essentially 3 cameras in 1.

I. A super small handheld ultra light camera for getting in tight spaces and putting on gimbals.

II. A documentary/event style camera with built-in NDs, good audio full HD at 10bit 4:2:2 and everything you need for shooting fast.

III. Finally the FS5 can be a great cinema camera for film, higher end commercial, and music video work. With the addition of an external recorder the FS5 is able to record raw and prores in 4K.
