Have you ever had the feeling of wanting to be with your favorite fictional characters? In this video I talk about some of my favorite characters when I was growing up and the adventures I went through with them.
I talk about the feelings we get after a show or a story ends. How concerned I am to the characters after a show ends, but why do we feel this way? Why do we feel connected?
I talk about one of my favorite fictional characters in tv show and gaming and how they affect me. Maybe it's a whole other thing than missing the fictional characters, maybe we're missing something else.
Loving our favorite characters can mean we're in a parasocial relationship. It can be dangerous when the obsession gets real. But no matter how much you adore someone, you can't be them. I also talk about why I love YouTube and how I love the community here.
Anyway, I would always be grateful for my favorite characters.
