the Municipality of Santa Maria, is a 4th class municipality in the province of Isabela, Philippines. According to the 2020 census, it has a population of 25,758 people.
Santa Maria, Isabela is located in the northwestern part of the province of Isabela, Philippines. The municipality is bounded on the north by the municipality of Enrile, Cagayan and on the east by the Cagayan River, which is the natural boundary between Cagayan and Isabela. On the west, it is bounded by the province of Kalinga. Santa Maria is about 65 kilometers away from Ilagan, the capital town of Isabela. It is also accessible via Tuguegarao, Cagayan with a half-cemented and half-graveled road. An alternate route to reach Santa Maria is by passing through Quezon, Isabela with a more convenient cemented road of about 39 kilometers.
Santa Maria is an agricultural municipality, with rice, corn, and vegetables as the main crops. The municipality is also home to a number of industries, including logging, mining, and quarrying.
