Описание: Pulao was one of the most commonly cooked dishes in Shobhabazar Rajbari on every occasion. During Durga Puja, it is still cooked almost everyday not only as a part of the “bhog” or offering to the Mother Goddess, but for everyone to eat. Apart from Ghee Bhaath, Basanti Pulao, Subzee Pulao or Mewa Pulao which are more common, this was one really interesting and tasty dish. Made rich with ghee and raisins, the speciality of this pulao lies in the use of split chickpeas, and this touch of protein, the traditional rice dish gets elevated to an altogether different level.
