In this talk, Dr. Javed Brohi shares a personal learning journey that spans DNA computing, quantum finance, theoretical physics, and artificial intelligence. Rather than focusing on AI as a tool for answers, he explores how ancient methods of thinking — particularly the Socratic method and the Trivium — can reshape how we learn in the modern world.
Through a live demonstration, he shows how large language models can be used not as shortcuts, but as partners in dialogue that help learners build understanding step by step. The talk argues that the real value of AI lies not in replacing human thinking, but in restoring curiosity, questioning, and the discipline of learning itself. Dr. Javed Hussain Brohi is a faculty member and academic at Sukkur IBA University, where he serves as a professor in the Mathematics Department and has also been Head of Department. He holds a PhD from the University of York, UK, with strong research expertise in stochastic partial differential equations and financial mathematics, and has taught at both the University of York and Sukkur IBA University. This talk was given at a TEDx event using the TED conference format but independently organized by a local community. Learn more at https://www.ted.com/tedx
