🚙DESTINATION: Cordeaux Dam.
📍WHERE: Cordeaux Dam is located just off Picton Road, only a mere 30 minutes from Wollongong and an hour's drive from Sydney City.
👉🏾COUNTRY: Cordeaux Dam is located on the traditional lands of the Gundungurra (or Gandangara) people, who have long inhabited the Southern Highlands, including the area where the dam now stands, with connections also noted to the Dharawal people.
❓WHY: To explore this heritage-listed piece of WaterNSW infrastructure that has been a key part of the water supply system since the 1920s. The hundredth anniversary of it's completion is this year.
🚻 TOILETS: Yes, there are toilets both at the dam walll and in the picnic area back up the road.
♿️ ACCESSABILITY: This is a wheelchair accessible site with easy access to the dam wall.
🅿️ PARKING: Plenty of parking.
