A session from the 2021 Provincial Advocates Training Conference.

This session addressed the topic of child support. Tanya defined the difference between a variation of child support and an application of retroactive support. She also addressed how to apply to vary an existing child support order and how to apply for retroactive child support under the Divorce Act and Family Law Act in BC. Relevant legislation and case law was outlined.
