Hello and welcome to my Retrogaming Zone!
This time i take a look at the homebrew port of Aztec Challenge on my ColecoVision.
The ColecoVision version faithfully adapts the multi-stage format of the C64 original:
14 Levels: Includes hazardous trials such as "The Gauntlet" (dodging spears while running toward a temple) and navigating booby-trapped hallways.
Deadly Obstacles: Players must dodge falling stone blocks on temple stairs, swim through lakes filled with man-eating fish, and cross flimsy grass bridges.
Precision and Timing: The game requires sharp reflexes to duck or jump over spears and avoid traps.
