Описание: The mechanism for the deprotection of an Fmoc (fluorenylmethoxycarbonyl) protecting group using piperidine. An Fmoc group is unstable under basic conditions as it is often cleaved using nitrogen bases. This mechanism shows the deprotection using piperidine however other nitrogen bases are possible such as triethylamine, but these may be more difficult to get the reaction to go to completion.
