New T7 VW Transporter Awkward Dealership Interview

Описание: Alex from VW York was the only dealer prepared to do the interview. So, huge credit to him. This was not easy for him to do. And that was after watching my previous critical video, which had even more critical comments in the community section. I pushed as far as I could without being rude as it was totally unfair to slate him or the VW brand in front of him - I'm pissed, but I'm not "that guy".

I'm trying to create genuine, real videos showing the dilemma VW have put us, the Transporter fans, in. I love that brand, the camaraderie, the history and my personal memories of exploring Scotland, France, Italy and Switzerland with my family in those vans. I've spent hours and hours in those vans, converting them with my knees aching and my hands hurting with a smile on my face. It's just metal, plastic and rubber but they have a strong connection to me.

I want to know what VW and Ford owners think, so thanks for leaving comments both positive and negative.

It's interesting from an observation POV but as a passionate multiple VW van owner, I'm feeling totally confused and deflated when I should be feeling excited about the new van. I know this - seeing it in the flesh the looks on both Ford and VW versions are growing on me, the side and back angle just looks like a transit, it will drive better (transits always did), residual values are no longer guaranteed, the VW brand is slowly losing trust and kudos due to the Ford partnership, the wet belt is a ticking time bomb for all platforms using a wet belt engine not just Ford, T6.1s look and feel like a modern day classic, so start looking after them!!!
