The World Affairs Council of New Hampshire proudly presented Rod & Nancy Van Sciver, co-Founders of Education for All Children (EFAC), with the 2025 Global Leadership award for their history of supporting education efforts in Kenya from right here in New Hampshire.
EFAC provides scholarships and holistic support to students from high school through college and preparation for employment. Students are selected based on financial need, academic performance, and leadership potential. From funding 44 scholarships in its first year, EFAC has supported more than 1,200 beneficiaries, currently with 875 active scholars in various high schools and institutions of higher learning across Kenya. In addition to this, over 270 alumni are leaders in their communities and paying it forward by supporting others.
