Описание: Very sad to hear of the passing of the great Gordon Goodwin on December 8, 2025. He was the leader of Gordon Goodwin Big Phat Big Band. He was an amazing arranger and composer, played piano and tenor sax in his band. As the drummer leader of my Ken Loomer Big Band, I`m always looking for the best new arrangements to play. This Herbie Handcock composed song "Watermelon Man" was a big hit. Gordon Goodwin did this swinging arrangement of this song that is just perfect for the type of charts I want to play in my Big Band. I must thank my outstanding musicians for giving 100% to this music to make it so exciting to hear. I thank the great Gordon Goodwin for all the great Big Band music he played and for his amazing arrangements that I get to play.
