Lepina is a traditional Balkan flatbread made with simple ingredients including plain flour, yeast, salt, oil and water. The dough is kneaded, left to rise in a preheated oven for 30 minutes, then shaped and baked at 250 degrees for approximately 10 minutes. Traditionally served with cevapi, roasted peppers and onions, this centuries-old bread features a distinctive knife pattern and is commonly found in taverns across Serbia and the Balkans.
