Unicorn Art Studio, Inc. specializes in custom fine art mosaics, custom architectural mosaics and functional mosaics for private and commercial spaces. Yakov and Angele Hanansen well known mosaic artists and designers founded Unicorn Art Studio, Inc., in 1995 in New York City. Yakov and Angele have been creating large-scale mosaic murals since 1975. Their extensive expertise in design field is a core of the studio. Yakov and Angele both have Masters of Fine Art degrees from the famous design school - Moscow State Textile University in Moscow, Russia. They both have their BFA from Kaunas Applied Arts College, Lithuania. Yakov and Angele have been teaching art and design studio classes since 1970. They have been working on broad range of commissions for public, commercial and residential spaces for over 30 years. Their award-winning mosaic art is exhibited both nationally and internationally and is represented in private, public and corporate collections.

Throughout the years, Unicorn Art Studio, Inc. has successfully completed a wide range of commissions of various mosaic types, from large-scale mosaic murals in corporate lobbies, building facades, transit stations and landscape mosaic sculptures in public parks to stylish functional mosaic pieces for commercial, public and residential spaces.
