Hua Shan 华山 West peak to South peak Crowded Mountain Chinese Flag 🇨🇳

Описание: 华山 Mount Huashan! We were in Xi'An, and decided to visit Hua Shan! Getting here was quite a challenge as a DIY traveller. From our hotel (Sheraton Xi'An North City Hotel), we took the Xi'An metro to Xi'An North High Speed Rail station. From there, you take a HS train to Huashan North High Speed Rail station, the ride was 30-40 minutes, distance of 120km. Thereafter, we took a taxi from the HS train station to the visitor center.

After entering the visitor center, you need to take an internal shuttle, either to the North peak or West peak cable car station. We decided to go for the West Peak (it is newer, and brings you higher up the mountain, to the famous West Peak). All that took quite a while, before we arrived at the West Peak cable car station, where this video starts.

So, in this video, we start our walk from the West Peak cable car station, to the West peak itself. After admiring the views there (and stopping for a meal break, we had brought our own food and water), we walked to the South Peak. After admiring the views, we walked back to the West peak, and headed back down to ground level using the West Peak cable car. The mountain was quite crowded, even though we didn't face much queues going up. Apparently, one can expect to wait up to 2 hours for the cable car to go up! I can't imagine how much more crowded the mountain would be!

At the famous South peak, we were waiting behind a group of Chinese tourists who were quarreling.

And then we had to again take the internal shuttle back to the visitor center, and from the visitor center we took a taxi back to the Huashan North High Speed Rail station. From there, we bought our tickets, and took the HS rail back to Xi'An North.

Given the number of transfers, if we were to do it again, we may have just booked a driver for the day, and take us from our Xi'An hotel all the way to the Hua Shan visitor center.
