Описание: Can a minor boy will be prosecuted under the Provisions of POCSO Act? A boy of 15 years and a girl of 11 year fell in love and established consensual relationship. When boy turns 17 years and girl turn 13 years, girl became pregnant. A case under section 6 (Aggravated Penetrative Sexual Assault) of POCSO Act was registered. Meanwhile boy and girl married each other and started living peaceful life.
Trial Court find boy guilty and sentences him for 10 years of Rigorous imprisonment which was upheld by the High Court.
Thereafter boy file an Appeal before Supreme Court. What Supreme Court decided, we will discuss in this video.
