The DayZ devs just finished a live stream and this is what they showed us about patch 1.24
DayZ Update 1.24 will include a new firearm based on the SR-3, have new SKS gun sounds, changes to bullet impacts and bullet hitboxes on trees and bushes, a new helmet called the Camoflauge Helmet, changes to weapon raising new objects and walls, new sounds and more
