I was so nervous to try this—black paint and a toddler? What could possibly go wrong 😅
But honestly… this footprint canvas turned out even better than I imagined.
We used a large piece of unbleached canvas, some black paint, and a whole lot of patience (plus a foot bath at the end!).
It’s now framed and hanging in our home, and I smile every time I look at it.
Such a simple DIY, but such a special memory too. 💛
🎨 Supplies used:
– Canvas cloth (cut to ~80x50 cm)
– Wooden frame (ours was 60x90 cm)
– Black acrylic paint
– Soft makeup brush
– Double-sided tape
– White paper backing
– A toddler with some creative energy
