Jazz Tuesdays is a weekly event featuring great jazz musicians from all over the state of Michigan. Each week brings in a different guest artist and a new experience.
This week's show features MSU Jazz Studies senior Ari Teitel, an up and coming musician from Detroit that is starting to make quite a name for himself in mid and southeastern Michigan. Already an accomplished guitarist and singer, Ari leads his own groups which can be heard around the state, and has performed with greats like Robert Randolph, Michael Franti, Larry McCray, Thornetta Davis, Christian McBride, Robin Eubanks, Rodney Whitaker, Jim Alfredson, and Skeeto Valdez.
Ari is joined by Jim Alfredson on Hammond organ, and Jazz Tuesdays host Jeff Shoup on drums.
