Welcome to our latest family adventure where we decided to check out another State Park by the beach! We’ve never visited this place as a family before, but thought it would be a nice treat for us to take you along with us and show you what this area has to offer for the first time. So come with us on a journey filled with excitement, amazing views, and a little bit of nature. 😉

On this adventure we decided to head on over to Washington Oaks Gardens State Park in St. Augustine, FL. This place is a beautiful place in St. Augustine, Florida, where you can enjoy both the beach and peaceful gardens. On one side of the park is the Matanzas River, and on the other side is the Atlantic Ocean. The park is famous for its lovely formal gardens, filled with roses, big oak trees, and colorful flowers. It's a great spot to walk around and take pictures. The beach here is really special because of the coquina rocks—they look like huge, bumpy stones and make the shoreline look very different from most Florida beaches. With easy trails, quiet picnic areas, and beautiful views, this park is a great place for families and anyone who loves nature.

We thoroughly enjoyed seeing all the flowers especially the rose gardens, walking along the Matanzas River, and checking out the Coquina rocks on the beach was amazing. 😃 Being able to take the girls here and see what Washington Oaks Gardens State Park is all about was definitely fun and breathtaking.
