This is a time lapse of the entire carving process of this wooden Koi. It is done mostly with a Dremel rotary tool.
The final piece was sealed and displayed on a piece of drift wood set on wooden base and given away as a Christmas Gift.
I've included some links for tools that I've used for this project below. I've also included a link to Chris Pye's website in which I found a template for a Koi he Carved. Although I started from there as the basis and as with any hand crafted project it transforms in to something else. Of Course a link to the Dremel Website, Images of Koi I used for Inspiration and anatomic reference and a link to the Flexcut sharpener.
