Lenovo Chromebook Plus 14" First Impressions (MediaTek Kompanio Ultra 910)

In this video I’ll unbox and give my “first” impressions of the 2025 Lenovo Chromebook Plus 14”, the first ARM based Chromebook Plus, powered by the MediaTek Kompanio Ultra 910 processor, which also features a NPU (another first for a Chromebook), the integrated MediaTek NPU 890 (up to 50 TOPS). I say this is my “first” impressions as subscribers to the channel will have seen my video from the London Google Chromebook showcase in June when this Chromebook Plus model was announced and I got to spend a short amount of time hands on with it then.

This is looking like a pretty exceptional Chromebook Plus model, not only due to the MediaTek Kompanio Ultra processor, but it’s teamed with a bright OLED display with an optional touch display version. It either has 12GB RAM with 128GB UFS or 16GB of RAM with 256GB UFS. There’s also an option for a finger print reader.

This model was sent to me for review, but as usual all of the views are my own. Exact model in the video: 83MY0004UK This is a higher spec’d model available in the UK with the touch display, 256GB UFS, 16GB RAM and the finger print reader. It also comes with a 65w charger and is in the Seashell colour. Other models in the UK include:
