The Trump effect is reverberating around many parts of the US economy but there are now clear signs Australia's economy and spending will also be affected.
The first impact might be cheaper petrol prices, as oil prices fell after a Trump proclamation.
Sky News Business Editor Ross Greenwood says the US President has directly called on Saudi Arabia and OPEC to “bring down” the price of oil.
