The DIRT Modifieds are featured here in their annual 200-lapper at Rolling Wheels Raceway, as part of the 1989 DIRT Championship Trail. #9 Bob McCreadie looked like the man to beat for much of the race, but Dave Lape drove the #22 to victory over #1 Kenny Brightbill, #27J Danny Johnson, #12A Jack Johnson and #1 Joe Plazek. The video was shot by Will White.
This was a long day that began at Rolling Wheels and ended with another 200-lapper, a few miles down the road, at Cayuga County Fair Speedway in Weedsport. Brightbill won the Weedsport race, which had been rained out 2 weeks earlier.
