It's Back...Canada resumes FSW all program draws on July 8, 2020. After a 4-month suspension of all program Express Entry (EE) draws due to the COVID-19 pandemic, as of July 8th, Immigration Refugees Citizenship Canada (IRCC) has resumed all-program EE Federal Skilled Workers (FSW) and Federal Skilled Trade (FST) draws. Candidates are now eligible to receive invitations and apply for permanent residence. This is the first all-program draw since March 4, 2020.

The July 8th issued 3,900 invitations to apply (ITAs) for candidates with a Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) score of at least 478.

For the last four months, due to the COVID-19 pandemic, Canada has introduced travel restrictions to prevent its spread. To keep up with Canada’s immigration mandate, IRCC limited EE draws to Provincial Nominee Program (PNP) and Canadian Experience Class (CEC) candidates and suspended FSW’s and FST candidates.
