The two-day Annual Day celebration at Woodlem Park School, Hamidiya Ajman, held on February 6th and 7th, was an event to remember! Sinfonia 2 (a symphony of shared moments), was an overwhelming success, brimming with joy, excitement, and countless cherished memories. With over 4000 parents and guests in attendance, the event brilliantly highlighted the exceptional talents and boundless creativity of our students, leaving everyone in awe.
The festivities began with the prestigious Scholastic Award Ceremony, where meritorious students from KG to Grade 9 were felicitated. This year’s performances, inspired by the theme of Immersive Reading, captivated the audience with their vivid storytelling as each presentation was based on Story Books. The revelation of the theme itself left the audience in awe as from an eight feet 3D book spilled out small children , dressed as characters from Fairy Tales.
The students showcased a series of breathtaking performances, including Alice in Wonderland, Snow White, Rapunzel, Totto Chan, and The Ugly Duckling. Highlights included fusion dances, Belarus, Chinese, Armenian and Russian dances, acapella renditions with soaring high and low notes, and a shadow dance inspired by real life application of numeracy and penumbra. Kindergarteners stole the show with performances from The Frog Prince, The Little Mermaid, Lion King, Jungle Book, Cinderella, Encanto, Aladdin, and more, along with a thrilling airport dance and vibrant tributes to India’s festivals and the Seasons of Time.
The grand finale featured Bollywood singer Trijoy Dev, whose energetic performance had everyone dancing to iconic songs from Bollywood.
This Annual Day wasn’t just about talent, it was a heartfelt celebration of our students' achievements and the unity that makes our school, Woodlem Park Hamidiya truly exceptional. 🌟
