Описание: February is the peak season for whale watching in Hawaii (We were there from Feb 9 to 12, 2026). The western shores of Maui is widely considered one of the worlds premier destination for Humpback whale watching on account of the shallow channel between the 3 islands of Maui, Lanai & Molokai. Between Jan. to Mar. Humpbacks travel 3,000 miles from frigid waters of Alaska to the warm & predator free waters of Hawaii to mate, breed & raise their calves. We saw alot of calves & juvenile whales practicing their breaching technics & repetitive lobtailing to sharpen their motor skills & several other fascinating whale behaviors w/c I described in this video. The synchronized rhythmic spouting of 3 & 5 pods of whale was fascinating & the jumping or breaching by the adult whale were entertaining.
