Enjoy this sneak peek!
Feeling a little blocked and unable to take a longer stride and swing through the body is a common training challenge. So how do we encourage the horse to take longer steps without rushing or adding tension?
This week JJ introduces us to Finch, a 6-year-old, ¼ New Forest Pony/Oldenburg, a nice, polite guy who will happily trot along with short steps and not a lot of free, forward, flowing energy.
JJ shows us how we can use the way we post to encourage longer, looser strides and release some common blockages, without running or rushing. This allows Finch to happily lengthen his stride and swing, swing, swing through his body!
