Soon after, allegations surfaced that the driver’s blood samples were tampered with to hide intoxication.
Doctors from a government hospital and others were arrested in connection with the alleged blood-swap.
Recently, the Supreme Court granted bail to Dr. Ajay Taware, accused in the blood-sample manipulation.
