This is my new PB for Arcade Alien Vs Predator in level 8. I completed this run in January, 21 of this year. I was playing in GOTVG and it was my first try of that day. The run started really bad for what I usually allow for the first two stages and I only carried it for the sake of finishing a run, but everything went so smoothly from 3rd stage on that it ended up beeing an amazing run and almost a sub 23. I actually thought it was a 22min run, because when you play back the GOTVG file it is, iirc, a 22min and 56sec run, but when I encoded the file, whith every tool I found, it would always add around the same amount of seconds to the videos. It's like gotvg runs the game(s) slighly faster and I don't know if the problem is in the emulator or in the video. I'm assuming gotvg is wrong, so that's why the title says 23min and 4sec.

I haven't played the game, as far as I remember, since this run and I think it was because I got frustrated. I thought it was the sub 23min run I wanted, but then the encodes told the contrary. As I don't know if I'll return to the game any time soon to get a sub 23min run I decided to post this run I already have for anyone interested.

Este é o meu novo melhor tempo para o jogo de Arcade Alien Vs Predator no nível 8. Eu completei este jogo em 21 de janeiro deste ano. Eu estava jogando no GOTVG e foi minha primeira tentativa do dia. As coisas não foram muito bem nas duas primeiras fases para o que eu costumo permitir e eu só continuei jogando para tentar zerar o jogo, mas as coisas correram tão bem da 3ª fase em diante que acabou se tornando um ótimo speedrun e quase abaixo de 23min. Na verdade eu até pensei que tivesse sido abaixo de 23min, pois quando rodo o arquivo do GOTVG ele me dá, se não me engano, um tempo de 22min e 56seg, mas quando eu converto o arquivo em video, com qualquer ferramenta de conversão que encontrei, o arquivo de video final sempre tem aproximadamente a mesma quantidade de segundos a mais. É como se o emulador GOTVG rodasse os jogos ligeiramente mais rápido do que deveria. Eu não sei se o problema é no GOTVG ou nos videos, mas estou assumindo que o emulador é que está errado e por isto o título diz 23min e 4seg.

Eu não jogo este jogo, pelo que me lembro, desde este speedrun e acho que é porque fiquei frustrado com o fato de ter achado que tinha conseguido o tempo que eu procurava, abaixo de 23min, mas as conversões me disseram o contrário. Como eu não sei se tentarei novamente conseguir o tempo abaixo de 23min e decidi postar este video que já tenho para quem tiver interesse.
