Описание: The two Indian Navy aircraft carriers, the INS Vikramaditya and the INS Vikrant, do not use conventional catapults for launching aircraft. Hydraulic assisted blocks pop up in front of the main wheels, holding the aircraft like these MiG-29 Fulcrums in place until the jet is at full power. Once at full power the blocks retract forward as the main wheels roll down the deck. The end of the deck pitches up so the aircraft have an up vector going off the bow.
