Overlanding Adventure with Dad

Описание: For this trip, my dad and I loaded up Alpha and pointed the Jeep toward the mountains of North Carolina.

Our first stop was Earl’s Ford Road, where we followed the trail along the Chattooga River, set up camp by the water, and tried our luck fishing. There’s something timeless about a quiet river, a small fire, and the chance to cook what you catch.

From there we headed deeper into the mountains to explore Old NC 105 along the edge of Linville Gorge. With the full moon rising over the mountains, we set up camp overlooking one of the most beautiful landscapes in the Appalachians.

The next morning we met up with my brother at Stone Mountain State Park. Together we climbed the classic route “No Alternative”, finishing the trip the best way possible — on the side of a mountain with family.

Trips like this remind me why we go in the first place.
Not for the miles… but for the moments along the way.
