The Mimic is a horror mystery game that doesn't need much introduction, as the game itself is notorious through the Roblox community for its scary gameplay yet compelling story, in which tells the story of four entities who were sealed away by a samurai to forbid them from causing chaos, only for them to cause more once released. Drawing from Japanese history and urban legends, the game adds a twist as you delve into the mysterious depths of each book.

In this book, CONTROL, the antagonist is Kintoru, one of the four beasts that rampaged the Earth as the Beast of Control, as well as also being responsible for cursing the protagonist's bloodline. You play as Yasu, as you go back to your old high school to find your missing friends, only to so venture into the puzzling world, evading enemies and solving puzzles to uncover the truth and escape.

Despite us both playing the game multiple times, me and my friend, Mitaka, both played the entirety of Book 1, which was a blast in itself. We'll soon finish Book 2 as well as the other gamemodes available.
